Hi, my name is Joe Gagliano, for the past fifteen years I have been working with people in many walks of life from young school age children to senior citizens. I have been providing counseling and helping people see the potential in themselves. The word "therapy" in Greek means, "to heal". Even though healing is an essential part of personal growth it only addresses the first part the story. In the second part of the story there is the potential toward full purposeful living. Living life to the fullest and experiencing real freedom, fulfillment and the joy you were ment to have. You choose how far you want to go.
The philosophy of Avatar is to provide a psycho-educational experience, addressing the total person in their environment. The mind, the belief system or paradigm, are addressed through the growth process. Counseling, adheres to an in-depth approach towards the achievement of goal-orientated solutions. There are many reasons why people seek counseling. Most of which have not learned the necessary life skills to apply to a given crisis. I believe that a crisis is an opportunity for growth.
